How Mood and Mind Counseling Can Help
Mood And Mind Counseling│Cara Cancio, LCSW, ADHD-CCSP│St. Petersburg, FL
Individual Therapy
Individual therapy, in-person or virtually, is a space for you to slow down, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move toward the life you want to build.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, ADHD or simply feeling stuck, therapy can help you better understand yourself and create meaningful change.
Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck, strengthen your coping tools, and help you reconnect with your values, strengths, and sense of self. My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your unique needs and goals.
ADHD therapy provides a space to better understand how your brain works, navigate challenges with focus, organization, motivation, emotional regulation, and self-esteem, and build strategies that actually fit your life. I am a certified ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP) and want to help you identify not just what you can do, but how to do it.
Together, we'll work to reduce feelings of overwhelm, identify and work with your strengths, and create sustainable tools that support your goals.
Rather than trying to force yourself into systems that don't work, we'll focus on finding approaches that help you thrive as you are.
Therapy For ADHD
Consultation Call
Finding the right therapist is important, and it's okay to have questions before getting started. It can be scary to start working with a therapist, and this can help that step feel less overwhelming.
This call provides an opportunity for us to briefly connect, discuss what brings you to therapy, and explore whether we're a good fit. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions about my approach, the therapy process, and what support might look like for you. I believe that the most meaningful and impactful therapy comes from a strong therapeutic relationship. There is no pressure or commitment, just a chance to take the first step and then see if working together feels right.
A blend of evidence-based practices with a warm, relational approach to help adults and teens feel grounded, empowered, and understood. Therapy is flexible, client-led, and holistic- honoring the connection between mind, body, and lived experience.
